It uses "green screen" to upload data on the wintel platform, it also calls an RPG program to run the process: AMJPCA found in AMALIB* We run it on W2000 server, no cals required. Nobody uses Green Screen to access the software itself, although you can use green screen or Browser to access the results - which reside in MAPICS files, such as MoTran, MorOut and the loader file TrData. I wouldn't worry about the integration, it's fully integrated. I believe they have a "MAPICS Suite" which wasn't available when we bought it. We have done significant customization in the last year. Give 'em a call, I have always found them to be friendly! If you're going to the conference, lemme know I can tell you more, even share some documentation & manuals that I created for our company. Cheers....james > Can HighJump run on native "green screen" (ie programs that reside on the 400) or is this something thats going to require yet another MS SQL server and > more client installed apps? > > Thanks for the responses, I was concerned about looking at system that has a lot of great features but would be a nightmare in trying to integrate with > MAPICS. > >-Jimmy "Sansi, Jim" <jsansi@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 05/18/2005 08:12 AM Please respond to MAPICS ERP System Discussion <mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To "MAPICS ERP System Discussion" <mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Subject RE: Warehouse Management Systems This is a secure message.
