Good News Everybody!

A new search engine is coming soon.

As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

It uses "green screen" to upload data on the wintel platform, it also
calls an RPG program to run the process: AMJPCA found in AMALIB*

We run it on W2000 server, no cals required.

Nobody uses Green Screen to access the software itself, although you
can use green screen or Browser to access the results - which reside
in MAPICS files, such as MoTran, MorOut and the loader file TrData.

I wouldn't worry about the integration, it's fully integrated. I believe
they
have a "MAPICS Suite" which wasn't available when we bought it.

We have done significant customization in the last year.

Give 'em a call, I have always found them to be friendly!

If you're going to the conference, lemme know I can tell
you more, even share some documentation & manuals
that I created for our company.

Cheers....james

server and
