With the electronic forms packages you are able to position the data of the cheque spool file anywhere you wish to satisfy your bank's requirements... Any of the forms packages should be able to accommodate your needs. The only real caveat is to have someone either on your staff of as a consultant perform the services function for you. Also keep in mind that the forms package is able to be used on any other of your forms. Invoices, Order acknowledgements, etc. I know of a hospital in Miami that has over 800 forms in their forms library... The more capable of the packages are able to perform math functions, conversion lookups (dollars to pounds; pounds to kilos, etc) and do logical page control... Gregory A. Per Mapics... There is no standard UK cheque format layout. Not all UK banks have the same cheque or remittance layout. In order to fit the layout you wish to print you will need to have a programmer create a UK payment function program and print file by taking the source code for the existing UAH3PFR and UAH3PFRD objects as a basis. You will need to modifying the new print file you create to position the fields on the print file where you wish them to appear according to your cheque layout. Then refer to this newly created payment function and print file on your UK settlement method document type for UK checks.
