Do you mean you don't want the inventory COST to show up?
We have many customer supplied parts that come in and we show these as item
type 4 with a cost of .000000000001--whatever the lowest is we can key.
Cost is then minimal, but the inventory shows and we can issue to
manufacturing orders.  We put Cust Supplied in the Eng Drawing number so
purchasing knows not to buy.
