QSECOFR needs authority to install/tailor. This is because the PCM apply
process can only be done as QSECOFR and the PCM apply does an install/tailor.

Subject: MAPICS and QSECOFR

Hello list,

We are working on MAPICS security tightening up who has access to various
tasks. I have seen QSECOFR authorized to many tasks that seem unnecessary.
I would like to revoke all tasks from QSECOFR but seem to remember that some
tasks in Cross Apps could only be done by QSECOFR.

Is there a list of tasks that QSECOFR needs access to?

While I am typing this I might as well ask about AMAPICS being specifically
authorized to tasks. Seems unnecessary. Any comment? Rants not useful.

Thanks,
Greg Wenzloff
