Pete - thanks for catching that one! DB was so long ago - late 1980's early 1990's. Anyway, our programmers created a program that copied all the MTHACT files to HSTACTMMYYx files prior to running the month-end close process. I made them a check list to use for month-end close procedures so it was never missed. By adding the mmyy to the name of the file anyone in the company that was authorized to those files could write their own queries for various reporting needs.
