What I have done, in summary, is to make a small modification to program
AXZPUD. I changed the two SAVLIB commands to save a library we created. The
library only contains a one position data area, we called the library
AMZBACKUP. Doing this "MAPICS" thinks everything got backed up and does all
the cleanup, including any post and pre backup jobs you have defined.

Subject: Batch file clean up from backups

Hello everyone,

I've seen this on the thread before, but lost the note. Can someone tell
me how I can run the end-of-MAPICS-backup without actually running backups?
I need to be able to clear all the Finished batches and stuff without
actually running the tape (or disk) backup.

MAPICS/XA R6.

Thanks!
