I inadvertently ran a RMVLICKEY LICKEYINP(*PROMPT) PRDID(*ALL) late
yesterday afternoon, removing all our license keys from the system! The
joblog showed that "51 license key information records removed from
repository". All our iSeries keys and MAPICS base and application keys were
blown away.

I immediately tried to open a new client access session and sign into
MAPICS. It worked fine. Why would I be able to sign on and enter MAPICS
without license keys? Nonetheless, I re-entered the base license key for
MAPICS that I had on file and re-entered the nine OS/400 keys I requested
from IBM as I did not know where they were filed. I have not entered the
MAPICS application keys because I don't seem to have them on file. All the
applications are working so are they not required? Or things going to blow
up after an IPL?

By the way, I was poking around with the LICKEY commands yesterday in order
to remove the keys and PRDDFN's for XAR2 which we haven't used in four years
but are still on our system.

Thanks in advance.
