Weston, As others have said, this takes up quite a bit of disk space. The main reason for have a duplicate of the program and installation libraries is if you are going to a different level, applying and testing programs not used in the production environment, etc. If your programs are NOT changing, then it does not seem necessary to go to the additional effort and space of setting up the program library. In your test environment, you can manipulate the library list to test user-program changes without having to duplicate the entire AMALIB. In your "re-alignment" are you changing MAPICS functions, versions or application sets? If not, you may not need the program library. I am thinking about doing the TT environment. That way I would get the files and programs. And be separate from my MM environment. Correct? If you create an MM env. then the libraries are named as follows... AMALIB, AMFLIB, AMTLIB & AMXLIB If you were to create a YY env then names are AMFLIBY, AMFLIBY, AMTLIBY & AMXLIBY.... If you create and MY env. then AMFLIB, AMXLIB, AMFLIBY & AMTLIBY The 1st letter is for the Program (AMA) and Install tailor (AMX) libs. the 2nd is for files (AMF) & data trans (AMT) Hope this is not to confusing. You can set their library lists however you want?
