From "Planning and Installing MAPICS XA" Chapter 3:

Setting the date format
The date format on MAPICS XA displays and reports is the same format as the one
you specify for the AS/400 system.
The date formats supported by MAPICS XA are:
• MM/DD/YY (month/day/year)
• DD/MM/YY (day/month/year)
• YY/MM/DD (year/month/day)
To change the date format, see the AS/400 Work Management Guide.

I am absolutely new to Mapics XA. Spent about a month on Mapics DB about
<mumble> years ago in a previous job. I remember the source code being ugly
as h*ll. Here at my new employer, we are preparing to migrate to Mapics XA
from DB.

What is the standard presentation of dates in Mapics for entry, display, and
printing? IOW, 4-digit years or 2-digit years? Month, day, year sequence?
Is it customizable at the installation level?

The reason I ask is that I am rewriting some custom apps, and we want to
standardize the format of the dates. Don't want to get too far into the
rewrite without having some idea of what our users will see in Mapics.

Thanks,
db
