I've discovered a lot of companies did the CYYMMDD for Y2K. It fit into
the packed fields without resizing at all. Easy to do. Moderately
annoying for programmers, but not that big a deal.

Display, Print, and Entry are all MM/DD/YY?
And never any 4-digit years?
Did XA predate the date data types?

Most things display as MM/DD/YY. Now they are stored at CYYMMDD so today
would be 1040621 last year would be 1030621.
