may be a bit late for this but :

quick FYI, IX transactions donot affect inventory on hand balances, just
a memo transaction to let acct dept keep a check of IS vs consumption of
   Uncontrolled FS items.

was this a qty per issue ? or what caused the original over issue ??

depending on your situation you could simple DFU or DBU the modata file to
fix the record in error, may want to adjust MOMAST as well 'issue cost PTD
and order to date' and or get rid of the IX transaction.

   Just a thought.

   Hi Gary Sutton:
   Thanks for your reply.
   > "...then remove the floor stock code from the item."
   ....and then do what?
I'm trying to reverse an incorrect IX Inventory Transaction on an Item
Number (related to a specific MO) whose FLSTK code setting is "U" for
Uncontrolled Floor Stock. (The Item is to remain an uncontrolled floor
The negative IX transaction will correct quantity of the issue of the
rivet to the MO and have no affect on the current On Hand Quantity of the
   rivet itself.
I look forward to your followup comments.
