Teresa, If you are hesitant to modify Mapics (or don't have the skills), you may wish to look at JacanaForms, an electronic forms solution. With JacanaForms, you can rearrange the data in the forms to place the customer item first. We use the printer output (spool file) and map the field locations, you can then place the fields anywhere on the form. Requires no changes to Mapics or any custom programming. (Warning, the following advertisement may be considered a sales pitch by some <G>)... JacanaForms can replace pre-printed forms using laser printers and plain paper. You can insert logos and images and enhance the overall quality and readability of the documents you send to you customers and vendors. Capability is included for emailing, interfacing to fax applications, and generating PDF documents. For more information, please go to our dedicated Mapics web site www.jacana.com/mapicsweb or reply privately off-list to me directly. We have a (big) customer asking for this to be done. Is this a huge hassle? Does mapics allow for this and I am missing it? Thanks for any help!
