Re: Multiple warehouses

Be careful with multiple warehouse requirements. If a planner/buyer is not 
responsible or consignment of the balance in the other warehouse, you could 
order material you already have.

Also, each warehouse will need a PO for incoming material. Opening up a 
hornets nest if the source warehouse is so close. You duplicate many overhead 
expenses of a PO, receipt, stocking picking and financials of AP.

Can the outside warehouse be specifically segregated or can a person pick 
from the wrong warehouse.

How do you cycle count. MAPICS will now require 2 cycle count selections, one 
for each warehouse.

Bunch of cons here I know, .. but the waters are deep.
