All points understood and already handled/being handled..

The date format was a royal pain.. MAPICS should fix this.

I am in the process of creating all the external documents to support
multiple languages, currency, amount formats, plus all of the European
requirements for documents.

Michael, Regarding your points:

(1) MAPICS handles foreign language item descriptions and foreign currency
pricing. Costing is a can of worms. EPDM is able to maintain separate
costs
by Site. You would have to do something to have EPDM send the right costs
to
the AS/400 based on warehouse.

(2) Date formatting is controlled by common routines throughout MAPICS. I
don't know if this is MAPICS or AS/400 function. In any case, once you
find
the routine, modifying it would not be that difficult.

(3) All forms in COM, IFM, and PUR have exits that let you modify them as
needed.

I searched for camelon + software + mapics in Yahoo and got 21 hits. It
might be worth checking out.

One more point. The IFM currency conversion routine assumes one base
currency per environment. You need to change this routine so it gets the
base currency from the warehouse, site, etc.
