I agree with Connie. We've only been on MAPICS for five years now, but I
don't recognize the MAPICS software support you describe. However, it does
sound like an accuarate description of IBM AS/400 support and pricing! Make
sure you have identified the correct villain, please! The PC equivalent
would be blaming MS Word for some problem that is really caused by the XP
server OS. (Bad analogy, since Office and XP have the same "father.")

Are you talking about support for Client Access or MAPICS?  E:INFO comes
with MAPICS and answers around 90% of our questions without calling support.
We are 20 year users of MAPICS also. Going back to MAPICS I. We cannot be
