Short answer: you cannot BF directly from a Customer order in vanilla mapics.


IM only offers this through the MO (Floor stock coded - C) driven by RM, receipt to stock.
If you have paperless...you can BF by W/C, operation where used.

Is it possible to backflush the bill of material of a parent item via a
Sales Order in Mapics?

In other words. If a sales order is shipped, can the BOM of that parent item
be deducted from inventory without a manufacturing order?

Although I have never heard of this (via a sales order), I'm being told that
it's not that uncommon.
