The latest version caused me also problems running under terminal server. This was only when PB is the only application what starts up. When i start a normal terminal server session and then start PB using the startup menu PB works. But his is not what i want. Now people have a windows start button and can also do other things. Another question i have regarding pb. Is there a possibilty to disable the quit application function so that users can't close PB. (Password protected or whatever) I should think that PB should be active at all times 24/7. I also asked this to ise support but unit now............... I should think that ise should support terminal server/citrix due to that fact that maintenance is much more easier. With all there updates which are coming out frequently its not possible to chase every single pc on the shop floor (Which are widely spreaded) and update there software. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Vidal" <Peter_Vidal@xxxxxxxx> To: "MAPICS ERP System Discussion" <mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, March 11, 2003 4:51 PM Subject: Re: Paperless - PowerBuilder in WAN > > Hans: > > a) "Do you use one general profile." - We have several "shared" profiles for > specific groups of people (like PPLDPT011 for the Dept 011 Group) and some > individual profiles, maybe 10 or so. > > b) "Did you set up terminal server to run only pb etc." - Yes > > c) "In case of more profiles how do you handle ODBC.
