How did you set it up under terminal server. Do you use one general profile. Did you set up terminal server to run only pb etc. In case of more profiles how do you handle ODBC. (Different user names, user rights.) I ask this because I'm also running pb under terminal services. I only use one general profile for pb. (pb starts up automatically, no passw. or env. settings are needed) I don't think that when you run it under terminal server your type of connection matters (WAN, modem or whatever) I guess your terminal server is close (High speed connected) to your AS400 or Iseries. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Vidal" <Peter_Vidal@xxxxxxxx> To: <mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, March 10, 2003 9:21 PM Subject: Paperless - PowerBuilder in WAN > Is there anybody running Paperless PowerBuilder (PB) over a Wide Area Network > (WAN)?. If we use PB purely on the PC, performance is very poor. > > Which setups are working for you today? > > Peter Vidal > Pall Aeropower Corp. > SR Programmer Analyst > WWW.Pall.com / 727-539-8448, x2414 > > "A good player makes himself look good; > a great player makes the team look good." > Author unknown > > > _______________________________________________ > This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list > To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l > or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l. > > **************************************** > This email has been scanned for viruses. > Timesavers (Sandingmaster/Grindingmaster) > Quality & Value Without Compromise > **************************************** > **************************************** This email has been scanned for viruses.
