Hans: a) "Do you use one general profile." - We have several "shared" profiles for specific groups of people (like PPLDPT011 for the Dept 011 Group) and some individual profiles, maybe 10 or so. b) "Did you set up terminal server to run only pb etc." - Yes c) "In case of more profiles how do you handle ODBC. (Different user names, user rights.)" - I am guessing because the IT Manager prepares the profiles but if I am not mistaken, the ODBC Data Source / User DSN is prepared in such a way that we can have different production and test environments. We have 2 *LIVE and 2 *TEST environments. ===>This is our story: we are in 6.5.14 of Power Builder in all of our environments and we are working perfectly. The problem starts when we want to upgrade to the new 6.5.15 version, because it solves two issues we have today; however, this new version does not work at all. There is a memory management problem. We restored 6.5.14 back to the test environments and it works good once more. This problem is already reported to the ISE Tech Support but they are saying that is not their problem because we are using... Terminal Services!. They said that their software has not been tested and approved to work on either a Citrix or Terminal Services network; however, we have been using Terminal Services for a long time and they have been giving support to us through all this time (as well as you have been receiving support from them). This is incredible! We are doing some research on this as well but I just want to get opinions and experiences about this. Thanks! Peter Vidal Pall Aeropower Corp.
