Bonnie and Hans, Bonnie, the documentation is available under downloadable SH14754. Hans, as for your questions about a screen that shows all MOs with a time basis code of C, I believe that will be the 'Work with Outside Operations Cross Reference' option. After you create Outside Operations Detail (OOPDTL) records for each of your outside operations, then a cross reference (MOPORF) record will be created for every MO released and listed on the screen. However, in the start up, manufacturing orders already created do not have cross reference records. The MOPORF records may be manually entered and the PO added or just wait for attrition of your old orders released prior to creating the OOPDTL records. As for the individual release of POs, this is available from the 'Work with Outside Operations Cross Reference' option. If the OOPDTL is coded to not create the PO at the time of MO creation, then using option 11 on this screen creates the PO when you want. Using the leadtime and release time fence, this screen will be highlighted when the item is within the time fence to assist in manual releasing. They are also easy to spot visually because the POs field is blank on the screen. To assist all users, a NetConference will be provided on February 27th. Please sign up at our web site. There is still a lot of testing to be done. The transaction functionality between PUR,PCC and IM works which is a major improvement. >From the M-order routing step your P-order is created automaticaly if you want. The RP transaction can be done with IM with also update the status of your M-order which is great. What we miss or what we would like to have is a screen what shows all your open M-order routing steps with the time base code C. (Maybe it it there but we didn't found it yet) >From that screen on we would like to make a selection what orders we would like to release and to where. (Create the P-Order) It uses the standard p-order report with is in most cases customized. Work has to be done there. We would like to have an extra report. Let's say an O-order with contains the details for the P-order. (Materials, How to etc, etc.) Anyway this is what we found until now. Hans Koens IT Manager Timesavers Int.
