I experienced the same thing when changing *ipds to *afpds ... Barcodes worked fine. -----Original Message----- From: James Staber II [mailto:jstaber@staber.com] Sent: Friday, August 09, 2002 8:59 AM To: 'mapics-l@midrange.com' Subject: Re: Printing shop packets & barcodes to HP printers I implemented the suggestions from the mailing list several weeks ago re printing barcodes and shop packets to attached HP printers. Relatively successful except that the first 2 characters of the item number description overprint the last 2 characters of the order number. Likewise the engineering drawing number heading overprints the warehouse stock location heading. The overprinting doesn't occur when printing to a 4230. Anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this? All other fields/headings seem to be in the proper locations with proper alignment and the barcodes are printing.
