Paola,

Vertex is actually 2 pieces. The Vertex application and
the interface. MAPICS does not support either one.
Guide Technologies does the interface we use but there may
be others. Nothing fancy in either application but they seem
to work fine and are far less maintenance than the internal
MAPICS tax calculations.

With Guide's code there is no programming necessary. The majority
of Vertex $$ goes to the monthly updates. When we have called
with taxation issues their support seems to be fine.
