Ann, No personal experience, just what I gained from reading the user manual. We have two plants (2 planning warehouses) and needed orders from one to feed orders in the other. ISL seemed to be aimed at multi-environment, multi-machine and all we needed was a one way feed one po, one mo approach. At that time ISL was still being fitted into MAPICS with a high APAR rate so we just rolled our own interface. As I remember it the cost was pretty high as well, on the order of $40k to start and $10k ALF. The biggest issue for us wasn't the programming but the material handling aspect. Shipping, transferring and receiving the orders was sort of difficult. ISL may automate this better than we did but someone still has to handle the "stuff" and acknowledge receipt. Likewise leadtimes and schedule changes can cause havoc... If you decide on the program route I would be happy to give you a head start on it. Good luck! Konrad
