This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Hi Joan, Knowing us as well as you do, I would hope you had considered the JacanaForms solution. There are a couple of possibilities that may be helpful to understand. First, of course, is the ability to create "pretty" documents - while the source would be the forms document and not Word, it would still provide the needed function (how often are the Word docs expected to be changed?). Second, there are two possibilities for tying together the printing of the docs - either by generating a separate spool file with the information needed for the "Word" form (or just dummy data to drive the printing), or by scripting within JacanaForms to produce specific documents based on the criteria on the pack list itself. Momentum is the developer of Info WorkPlace and JacanaForms applications. What we want to happen is to use the COM user exit UMBSHP3R (Exit: Pack List) to automatically print a Word document when an item or items on a packing list meet certain criteria. It would be ideal if they would print on the same printer, one after the other, so the shipping clerk could pick up the whole stack and slap it into the packing list "baggie" without having to assemble anything. Anyone else doing this?
