Al, What version of DBU are you using? I recall this problem a few years ago with an older version. We are currently at ver. 5.0 and the fields are OK. They are 19 positions with 8 decimals on XA 5.0. How big are the fields in DB/Y2K? The other portion of the field information is in regular "green" font.) The message on the bottom of the DBU screen says, " Fields displayed in hex contain more than 15 digits, use CMD 2 to update." I may be wrong but it appears that all the inventory records in the ITEMBL file have the above messages related to those three (3) fields. How do I clear this problem so that I can edit the STDUC field in the ITEMBL file? Can you give me some information about how to use the "CMD 2" command? I wonder how these fields got to this status in the first place? I look forward to reading your comments and suggestions. -- Above message before copy enclosure (if any) was sent by: Al Gershen Grants Pass, OR 97526 aldg@mail.rvi.net & ICQ # 12342782 -- _______________________________________________ This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list To post a message email: MAPICS-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/mapics-l or email: MAPICS-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l.
