I have not seen anything that does exactly what you described. I have done several inquiries for various clients similar to what you are after. If I understand it correctly, you want an enhanced where used inquiry that shows the parent's quantity on hand, quantity on order, and requirements from customer orders. It is not that difficult of a job to do.
