Dave,

What is one person's "off-topic" might be another person's "heads up!"

I don't read midrange-l (probably should, I know). Like the "MAPICS
Conference" vs "COMMON" debate, I only have a limited amount of resources
(in this case, time) and therefore have to choose what I participate in and
what I ignore. Info like in this W2K message gives me a nice heads up that
there are other problems ahead. Now I know to go searching for info when
that sad day arrives that I have to give up the stability of NetWare and
install Win2K.

Yes, this discussion probably shouldn't go on and on and on... on the MAPICS
list, but the initial comments are welcomed, at least by me.

Thanks -- Joan

1) The list server strips out file attachments now, to eliminate the
problems they cause for digest subscribers.
2) What does this have to do with MAPICS? You really ought to post it to
midrange-l, it's off-topic here.

Thank you!

Here's an interesting occurrence we experienced with Client Access,
once we joined our W2000 users to the W2000 domain (Previously
we were using Novell).

After joining the domain and then using Client Access, we can no longer
bypass
the logon process (where windows password is cached to AS/400), in fact
we wind up now logging in twice via Client Access.

The first logon is the attached image, then after that, it is the
traditional green
screen logon. What has happened? It wouldn't be so bad if it were just
the
green screen, but to have the 'mini-logon' also is very much a drag.

Anybody encounter this?

couldn't find anything relevant on:
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/clientaccess/

Any suggestions.....thanks
