Usually COMMONs are held on Sunday to Thursday, with Thursday being fairly
light, then maybe Mapics, Peoplesoft, CA, Peregarine, etc ... could have
their annual conferences immediately following COMMON on Thursday to Sunday.


I think this could work if everyone would cooperate.

Well, that would certainly be neat, but I have attended COMMON in the
past, and the MAPICS attendees would be a fairly small fraction of the
attendance.   Now if one immediately followed the other at the same
venue.....  hmmmm - that would be interesting.  Of course, then the
problem would still be cost and time spent away from the company.

Actually, one of the biggest problems I have at the MAPICS conference is
being able to see all the sessions that I want to see, and also have
enough time in the expo center.
