What I proposed to the CBOD back in Baltimore was that they give serious
consideration to allowing joint conferences to run concurrently.  I'm not
sure how long the mapics conference runs so this is a TOTAL HYPOTHETICAL:

Presuming that the Mapics conf was 1.5days core conference...more could
just be trickeled in.....

Sunday-thurs you have access to the full common conference:  expo, tech
sessions, soundoff, cuds, etc.

Thurs-Friday:  SUG specific sessions.

This would allow for cheaper costs to all involved and a much more rounded
education/learning/exposure experience....

that was a year ago...needless to say, it's not happened.  IT was all
part of the LUG(local user group) planning mosaic I presented to teh CMC
and the LUG luncheon...  Got a copy here somewhere if ya wanna read it...

This was proposed not just for mapics, but for ALL SUGs...but...alas...
