How about a MAPICS Rolling Lab.....there is a new concept underway at COMMON to allow a lab room to be set up with certain applications and people just rolling in/out all day and try what they would. Lab paperwork would be available and the class member can just pick up the paperwork and do the lab. The challenge is in getting the lab instructors for an entire day. But the idea is great and MAPICS LAB would be wonderful. I would think MAPICS would not require a large lab room. or....since COMMON has a long lunch time now, maybe labs during lunch. Heck, it could become the MAPICS gathering place at COMMON. Now if MAPICS, Inc. is not up to the challenge, is there any MAPICS User willing to volunteer? Maybe MAPICS University, IBM, and MAPICS could band together and set something like that up. For example, how about a session where we can create some "tab cards" using Integrator (not just someone showing it), or real-time on the screen "how to install MMA", etc., etc. Eric >From: DaleGindlesperger@fft-inc.com >Reply-To: mapics-l@midrange.com >To: mapics-l@midrange.com >Subject: Re: MAPICS and COMMON >Date: Sat, 18 Aug 2001 13:57:31 -0400 > > >Eric, > >I have to disagree a little regarding MAPICS being just a sales show - I >attend several "customer solutions" sessions each year, and have given a >couple.
