Forwarded by moderator on behalf of Dale Gindlesperger [DaleGindlesperger@fft-inc.com]: ----------------------------------------------------------- I have been very successful with using a product called Unifier (formerly called FaxServer/401) from Cornerstone Communications (www.cstoneindy.com - don't ask why the weird web address, I don't know). It allows faxing directly from output queues on the AS/400 as well as from desktop apps. It also sends faxes to e-mail addresses. It has receiving capability (to AS/400 printers and e-mail) which I don't use - but we use it extensively for sending faxes. It runs on a standalone PC so it uses practically no AS/400 resources (a good thing for us). Note: I do not send P.O. or invoices with it - company policy requires that P.O.s be actually signed by a buyer, and my customers don't want their invoices faxed (again, don't ask - I don't understand that either). However, I understand that you can do that.
