I also agree. The green screens are as stable as they can be. If a mapics
program fails, it is usually one of the backend processes. We also use the
"H" EDI software that went to the GUI for the mapper. IMO, it was easier to
set up a map with the green screen, although I'm getting used to it.

I concur with your opinion.  Recently, the vendor of our e-Commerce/EDI
application decided to place priority on the client/server aspects of their
product and I cannot vouch for it's presumed benefits.  Luckily, all key
Operations-features are still accessable via green-screen... all key
document mapping features are now GUI-only.
