Hi Mapics ML Group: System: Mapics DB Y2K Mod 4; Inventory Costing not interfaced to G/L We had a situation where a Mfg Order (MO) was closed and purged into History before all the related Outside Process (OP) had been charged to it. I believe I found a way to edit the MO in History (using an AS/400 utility program) so that the OP is reported correctly. 1. Manufacturing Order History Master (MOHMST) Change the amount in the field, ISSUE COST (ISSCO) to the correct amount. (This field summarizes both the raw materials and outside processing charged to the MO.) 2. Manufacturing Order History Operation Detail (MOHRTG) Change the amount in the field, RUN LABOR COST TO DATE (RLCTD) to the correct amount. (This field summarizes our outside processing charged to the MO. Because the particular routing operation was for OP, it doesn't contain any Direct Labor.) Have I overlooked any other MO History files that might bounce off the changes I'm proposing above? Do you see any "down side" for me if I make the above changes to this particular MO in our History files? I suppose if something gets screwed up, I can always go be and change the file back to its original state, as to these two record fields. I look forward to your comments. -- Above message before copy enclosure (if any) was sent by: Al Gershen Grants Pass, OR 97526 aldg@mail.rvi.net & aldg@webtv.net; and thru ICQ # 12342782 -- +--- | This is the MAPICS Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MAPICS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MAPICS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAPICS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: dshaw@spartan.com +---
