Lance, Have you tried firing squads? <grin> It's pretty easy to write programs to change ACREC to "S" for unfinished batches in the batch control files. If you have something like Help/Systems Robot/Playback (I think that's the right name), it's not too hard to build scheduled jobs that process the closed batches automagically. Publicizing who was naughty about not finishing up properly each day can have some effect - we embarrassed a few folks into being more careful. Dave Shaw Spartan International, Inc.
