Just make sure that you don't have your backup on the 400 running simultaneously. If you do when the tape initializes it will put a tag at the beginning of the tape for Mapics and then the IBM (AS/400) backup will give you errors. The labels for Mapics are different and when the IBM backup kicks on at it's specified time it will read the label of Mapics and say that it is the wrong tape.
