Hello Mapics people...

I just found out today that there was PCM released for Mapics/XA V5 back
in February...
I never received any e-mail or snail-mail for that matter on this. I
found out about by
reading the Y2K letter for Release 5.

Do other people have this problem of not being notifed of these
important things? I've set up
selective e-mail for PTF's, but I do notice that I still don't get all
of them. For example, in
February I get e-mail on the 1st, 7th, 14th, 18th, 25th and 29th. I
didn't get the E:Info's for
February 3rd, 16th, 23rd even though they list PTF's for my release and
applications. I've gone
in and changed my selective e-mail for all applications for V5. I'd
rather get all of the mail
and weed through it on my own rather than miss something important.

Also, has any devised a method for dealing with volume of PTF's? How
often do you download
them and apply them? Sometimes it seems like a full-time job just to
keep up with this stuff... I do
download them off the internet and that speeds things up considerably
(especially since I started using
Gozilla to manage my downloads).

Have a happy Dyngus Day!
