Let me guess - the PTF changes something in MUI, right?  It sure would be nice
if they worked out something with IBM to get the "unsupported" interfaces that
that thing uses replaced with something supported, stable, and compatible with
security levels 40 and 50.

Just an FYI to anyone who is planning an upgrading to V4R4 or V4R3.  Last
weekend we upgraded our OS from V4R1 to V4R4 and the upgrade went fine, but
when we went to access MAPICS the system locked. 

We could not end the session even from QCONSOLE and had to IPL to get the
job to end.  Turns out a PTF must be applied to MAPICS, SH44998 for XA5.
After applying this PTF everything is now fine. 

 The description of the PTF says that the F1 & F4 keys will issue a message,
but obviously we experienced something a little more drastic.
