Actually, the Ubuntu OS was installed by another person and I'm trying to help
her build a common desktop, so, I do not know whether she had any
issue/problems installing tn5250 in the first place.

I am going to test by trying to install tn5250 (xt5250) on my personal Ubuntu
PC at home, and then install a new/clean PC with Ubuntu with tn5250. So, stay
tuned. Thanks.

I have a standard Ubuntu desktop where I installed tn5250. How do I make to
display in 132 column format? Setting the environment parameter to
env=IBM-3477-FC, does not appear to have any effect. I can expand the
terminal
window but the iSeries (AS400) display remains at 80 columns.

Thanks everybody.

Sincerely
Towhid
