132 column display on Ubuntu 9.04 -- LINUX5250

I have a standard Ubuntu desktop where I installed tn5250. How do I make to
display in 132 column format? Setting the environment parameter to
env=IBM-3477-FC, does not appear to have any effect. I can expand the terminal
window but the iSeries (AS400) display remains at 80 columns.
