Tell me what mapping you would like and I'll add it for you.

OK, I thought I could do it... I got all of my other changes to work just fine, but I can't get the cent sign to come out.

I figure the key I want is XK_bracketleft but I'm not sure how to output a character. If I key the cent sign (copy/paste) I get
warning: multi-character character constant

I thought maybe I could return XK_cent, but that didn't work either.

This doesn't work because keyhandler() returns an int, and XK_* are keysyms. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure there is no keysym called XK_cent (I'll double check this when I get home to my X books). What the keyhandler() function does is find out what key was pressed and return the corresponding lib5250 key. The lib5250 keys are defined in terminal.h. Looking through that reveals there is no key for the cent sign. The keys listed there start with K_ and are followed by a hex sequence. Perhaps we need a K_CENT here? x5250's key handling can only work with the definitions listed here.

Just in case anyone else likes my keymapping (and for me if I delete my file by mistake!)

Once I get x5250 version 0.5 out the door (soon!) I'll start working on a hopefully simple keymapping feature. Preferably one that won't involve changing the source code!
