like I said, try the xt5250 script. :)   instead of:
    tn5250 -y IBM-3477-FC airor
type:
    xt5250 -y IBM-3477-FC airor &

You might find that this works a lot better in an xterm...  0.15.6 is
only a few versions old, so it should work :)

The "official" tn5250 homepage is at:

You might also try pointing your browser at:
  http://cvs.cleveland.lug.net/module.pl?module=tn5250

Either of these should have newer versions of tn5250 online. 

If you want the absolute latest sources, they're available via CVS.
(Though, the documentation/man pages in the current sources is quite
a bit out of date)  If this interests you, please reply and I'll
give you some instructions...
