None of the files generated from/by other files are included in CVS, as that can lead to a Versioning Nightmare (tm). This includes configure, aclocal.m4 config.h.in, Makefile.in's from the whole project. The whole shebang to rebuild all the files is: aclocal && autoheader && autoconf && automake .. that should do it, you should then be able to configure and build as you normally might. BTW, I've got worked out a pretty twisted scheme to securely generate these files on the CVS server, but it can be a bit of work (and the CLUG admin needs to check to make sure I do it right ;). I hope to have this together by the middle of next week so we can have automagic CVS snapshots. -Jay > > TIA +--- | This is the LINUX5250 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to LINUX5250@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to LINUX5250-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to LINUX5250-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
