I have always downloaded the archive to my PC, unpacked it there and
goten it running, tested my apps, then copied it to the dev/qa lpar on
the i. It's not all that big, even over vpn. I still have to run
crtjvapgm for everything, so I do that in dev/qa when nobody is around.
That job is a real oinker. Eventually, I sav and rst from the dev/qa lpar
to prod. Then the angels sing and we drink good beer.
