Paul,

I mapped a drive to the IFS and then unzipped it. You could untar in qshell as well although when it comes to editing the config files and working with the files in general I find windows explorer a little more convenient hence the use of the mapped drive.

Pete/All,

Thanks for the feedback. A few questions as I prepare to install.

I assume you downloaded Tomcat 7 binary core as a ZIP file?

I assume it will be much faster to copy the tomcat zip file to the IFS then
unzipping on PC and copying folders? What is the best way to unzip? Use
the Java jar command or can you use a mapped drive and just use WINZIP?

Thanks, Paul Holm
