RE: IFSFileWriter write of blank String causesExtendedIllegalArgumentException

It could be as simple as a programmer checking for the last character in
your string and assuming you wouldn't be writing one with zero-length.  My
immediate thought would be to test for a zero length string and not attempt
to write it.
