Folks:

Ok, I found a really weird situation.

I've got some code that is reading text from one file and writing it out
to another.

I read the file with BufferedReader and write it out with a PrintWriter
wrapped around an IFSFileWriter.

Everything works fine ... until I try to do a PrintWriter.write() with a
String that contains no text (length() returns zero).

When I do this, I get "ExtendedIllegalArgumentException: offset: The
parameter value is out of the allowed range." I activated error trace
on jt400 and found it was complaining about the offset being less than zero.

Anyone have a clue why this would happen?

Thanks!

david
