Hi
We have developed stored procedure in RPGLE where we
had one input parameter which required a "|" as data
delimiter , and my java program would build a stream
with "|" as data delimiter and pass it to the stored
procedure,RPGLE program would parse the data and run
querry and return result set.
It worked well in USA, now we send those programs to
Europe and hit a problem, the AS400 there transferred
all the "|" character in RPGLE program to some thing
else like "!" and so all the stored procedures wont
work because java program still pass "|" while RPGLE
program look for "!".
So what may be the solution, do i have to rewrite the stored procedures to handle
this situation
or is there some thing in configuration, i cannot do
much on AS400 like change CCSID or any thing, but can
change java programs..
