Hi, let me thank david for the code, that thread.sleep(100) fixed my problem Yes i can call the job in interactive session and that is what i was doing, but then this job was a bit heavy one and had to fight with resources for all the interactive jobs and would slow all the as400 session(green screen users) and they started complaining about it, so now i am submitting it in job so it runs in qbatch and so runs faster and does not affect other users Ashish --- chrisd@xxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > > If you need to wait on the Job's completion, then > why don't you call it > instead of submitting it?
