Hi, We've successfully used the Microsoft jdbc jar driver access an MSSqlServer database from an As/400. It is free to use, although you're not allowed to distribute it. It is a Type4 driver - i.e. 100% java, and hence should work on any JVM. How you unpack it etc, on the ISeries, I've no idea. We basically installed in on a windows PC, and just moved the jars onto the AS/400. Cheers, Charles. >-----Original Message----- >From: Patrick L Archibald [mailto:Patrick.Archibald@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] >Sent: Wednesday, August 27, 2003 2:03 PM >To: Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400 >Subject: Re: JDBC driver for SQLServer > > >Keith > >I bought a type 4 JDBC driver from Weblogic, mssqlserver4v70.jar to >access, via a Servlet, our Building Access Server that uses MS >SQLServer >database.
