So far, I've downloaded the JDBC driver mssqlserver.tar from the MS
downloads site but can I untar this in qshell? My first attempt failed but
I'm unfamiliar with the tar command parms so probably missed something.

'tar tvf mssqlserver.tar' for testing/listing the content and 'tar xvf mssqlserver.tar' for extracting

But you can do this also under linux and probably with winzip too.
